I sat there with her by my side. The sun set and slowly descended behind the hills. I looked to my right. It was as if all the sunlight left was projecting on to her. She was so beautiful. With her blue face, purple goggles, and huge nose. “Smospa zorpa gorp!”. I didn’t know what it meant, I didn’t care. She was just so amazing. I wrapped my arm around her. “SQEEEEEEE!”, she hollered. I didn’t know what I had done. “I’m sorry!”, I yelled over her screeching. She screeched even louder. I had to manually deactivate her Volpo Box before it was too late. I slapped her across the face. It took a minute, but it worked. Her face slid to the side revealing the familiar array of buttons and wires. I loosened her second valve mech and flipped the “CLEAR” switch. Her screeching stopped. I slid her face back into it’s usual place and she smiled. At this point the sun was set. I had a tear in my eye. Once agin, slowly this time, I wrapped my arm around her shoulder. She flinched, but then calmed down. Good. I wanted to go in for a kiss or maybe even a hug, but I knew she wasn’t ready. I closed my eyes and remembered that we had all the time in the world to learn more. “Poplop bunuty?”, she whispered. I nodded my head, “Sure.”, I replied, “Sure.”
DESPICABLE ME: NAZI SYMBOLISM: EXPOSED!!!!
Introduction:
If you don’t already know about the two Despicable Me movies and its’ spinoff Minions, than go look it up. It’s not my problem. But for those of you who are already know, you still don’t really know. But don’t worry, I will inform you.
What Are The Minions Really?
The minions might just seem like little yellow things speaking nonsense, but they are not. Minions represent nazis. That’s right folks, I cracked the code. Minions are nazis. Think about it. They all wear the same types of clothes, the all look the same (with exception of little things like the number of eyes, hair style, size, etc.), and most of all , they all blindly serve Gru. You might say, “But, Cotton, they love Gru!”, and that is simply false. As proved in the movie Minions, they serve “the biggest baddest villain”. If you haven’t already figured who Gru is supposed to be, than you’re about to.
Who Is Gru Really?
Gru is none other than the infamous Aldoph Hitler. Yes, think about it. He has hundreds of followers that are willing to die for what he believes, which is just being evil. Sound familiar? There isn’t much else I can say about Gru on him alone, so you’ll start seeing more correlation as I go through the other characters and events.
Who Are Agnes, Edith, And Margo Really?
This will take a little more explaining, so bare with me. If you remember, in the first movie (Despicable Me) Gru is trying to steal something. Some guy steals it before him, so he’s got to steal it from the guy. He keeps failing so he gets an idea. He adopts three little girls from an orphanage to help him infiltrate the guy’s base. These girls are Agnes, Edith, and Margo. Agnes is small and get’s upset very easily. Edith is loud and does things without thinking. Margo, the tallest and smartest one is always trying to keep the other two in line. Sound familiar? That’s because these three girls are actually the three countries that joined Hitler during WW2. Agnes is China, Edith is Russia, and Margo is Germany. Notice how they are very upset in the orphanage because they are treated poorly until Gru adopts them. This is like how these countries weren’t doing well until Hitler told them he would take them in and provide for them as long as they joined him. But remember, Gru just wants them so they can defeat his enemy. Same with Hitler, he acted like he loved them, but he really only needed them so he could defeat his enemy.
The Carnival Scene:
In the first movie, there is a scene where Gru brings the girls to a theme park and they play a carnival game. They don’t win, so Agnes (China) starts crying. When the man that works the game refuses to give her the prize, Gru blows up the game with a laser and gives Agnes the prize she wanted. This is like how Hitler would blow up any country who refused his influence or the influence of the other countries under his rule.
The Logo:
The logo you see below is what I will be referring to as “the G”.
The G appears everywhere in the movie. It is what Gru uses as his logo. It’s just like how the nazis put their logo, the swastika, everywhere. This G logo appears everywhere, on the minions overalls, on Gru’s weapons, and many places in his lab. There is no doubt that this is supposed to be like a swastika.
Minion Mayhem:
The recently opened ride at Universal Studios Hollywood themed around the movies and titled Minion Mayhem has a lot of nazi symbolism. I’ve tried it myself. It is the standard 3D screen while you sit in a theatre with moving seats. The ride itself is really not that important. But what is important is the big gimmick. You become a minion. Well, you don’t really, but they say you are. This ride is recruiting nazis. Do not go on this ride, and if you know anyone who has, they need therapy. If you need more evidence, just look at any of the dozens of signs that decorate the walls of the lines you wait in. There are a lot, but I could only find pictures of a few. Here’s one.
This is on of the least nazi inspired ones, but next time I go to Universal I will take pictures myself and post them.
IMPORTANT MESSAGE:
If anyone close to you has seen these movies, share this article with them before it’s too late!
